About Journal

The Faculty of Social Sciences is the publisher of the journal. The journal Društveni horizonti publishes papers resulting from individual or group research (up to three co-authors) in the field of social sciences.

The journal is published both in print and electronically, twice a year—in June and December.

The journal publishes the following types of contributions:
1. Original scientific papers (presenting previously unpublished results of the authors' own research) – OSP;
2. Review articles (providing an original, detailed, and critical overview of a research problem or field in which the author has made a recognizable scientific contribution, as evidenced by self-citations) – RA;
3. Short or preliminary communications (original scientific work of a preliminary nature) – SC, PC;
4. Scientific critiques and polemics (discussions on a specific topic based solely on scientific argumentation) – SC, SP;
5. Professional papers (presenting and reflecting on experiences useful for the improvement of professional practice) – PP;
6. Informative contributions (editorials, commentaries, reflections, notes) – INP; and
7. Reviews (of books, collected volumes, journals, scientific events, etc.) – R.

Papers are published in Serbian (in Cyrillic script) or in English (in Latin script).

This journal does not charge any fees to authors.

The journal uses the iThenticate software to verify the authenticity and detect potential plagiarism in all submitted manuscripts.
